Michael J. Gargano is a native of Long-Island, currently residing in Olean, NY. Michael is a seasoned trauma and dissociation focused mental health, behavioral health, and addictions specialist with a decade of professional experience working at diverse array of clinical ranging from outpatient centers, residential programs, detox, inpatient mental health and substance use disorder units. Hope and Recovery was founded in the belief that everyone deserves equal access to healing and therapy.
Michael’s work centers on fusion of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Ego-States Therapy, Mindfulness, Yoga, Expressive Arts, and other somatic-based therapies.
Michael is a person in long-term recovery and welcomes people of all recovery paths. Michael sees people in individual and group therapy sessions.
